I know some of you (maybe all of you) doesn't like the i-ban-you logo in your xanga.

So, Guess What?

We remove it for you~ So no more "ibanyou logo" in you xanga~

Please update the new code to your xanga and the logo should be removed!

PS: Only Update the Function Code (Put code into Look & Feel => Header [Select : Input your own Header HTML])

In the new version of Xanga Public information setting page, you may see this error when you try to update your public information in xanga:

We just upgrade our system to i-ban-you 2.0.

We add two new functions, password & time zone and modify our code design.

With the password function, you can lock up your whole xanga by setup a password in your account!

Also, time zone, I know some of you are really looking for it! And it is ready to use! So, wherever you are in US, HONG KONG, JAPAN, Canada, or everywhere. You will have the right time for your blocking logs!

By using the new code design, we solve the "words limit" in "Interests" part and better blocking percentage! Because part of the new code place in "Header"!

Oh yes, I want to let you guys know that, according to the xanga design, we are no able to block visitor by their ip! In the very first version, we can block ip in a HTML page, however, when we test it on xanga, it is no working! We know why, and we are trying to solve it! So now, I just can answer you guys that "Accoring to the xanga design, we are no able to block visitor by their ip.
We may have this function later, we will keep working on it!

By fixing problems for some users, I found out that a couple special xanga layout is no working with i-ban-you code.
(If in your xanga, you can't see a "login id", then your layout is no support i-ban-you)

Nothing we can do, but you can change to another layout if you really want to use i-ban-you service.

Second, if you place the i-ban-you code in your xanga (Public profile -> Interests), then, please don't place another "JAVA" blocking code in your xanga.
Once only one "Blocking code" in one Xanga!

Another Important Notice to all the i-ban-you member.

I received couples e-mails about error on their xanga.

After they place the i-ban-you code in their xanga, the code block everyone and no one able to get into their xanga.

First, this is no our programming problems or bugs. It is because you place the code incorrectly.

Please DO NOT place the i-ban-you code in "Look & feel", especially "Header", if you place the code in "Header", then the code will block everyone!

The correct place for blocking code is, insert the Blocking Code into Public profile -> Interests (click on "Show") (http://www.xanga.com/private/profileinterests.aspx)
IMPORTANT: Please update the your blocking code to your xanga everytime you add/remove xanga id from your block list.

I receive some e-mail about problem on using "Block anonymous". Let me show you the steps.

First, you have to login to your i-ban-you account;
Second, turn on the Block anonymous@Xanga.com: "On";
then, type on the "Check Old Password:" for confirm your account setting;
Finally, update the new code to your xanga! (A lot of people forget to do this MOST important step)
